Privacy and shopping tools

Finder choices are not personal identity.

The finder asks for headphone requirements such as connection, ANC, simultaneous devices and a manufacturer-rated runtime threshold. It does not ask for a name, account, email address, health details or device identifier. The questionnaire uses fixed choices. If you open the optional shopping assistant, avoid including names, contact details, account information or other sensitive information in your messages.

Assessment requests

When you submit the finder, your selected public options are sent to this site's matching endpoint so it can return the authored product assessment. The answer set is not a retailer checkout instruction and is not sent to Amazon. On a central purchase page, the validated public choices may be represented in the browser URL fragment to display them and provide a return link to the source finder; fragments are not part of the canonical page address and are not sent with a normal HTTP request to the server.

Shopping assistant and technical records

If you use the optional AI shopping assistant, your message and a limited conversation history are processed by our service and OpenAI to interpret your request and explain relevant products. The assistant uses a temporary session cookie and may cache responses. Session information, request records and a protected representation of the IP address help enforce usage limits and prevent abuse. Hosting and network services may also keep technical request logs. The questionnaire does not require the assistant; you can use its fixed choices and read the assessments separately.

Source citations lead to manufacturer documentation. A separate BuyerShortlists purchase page may contain a visitor-activated retailer link and its own disclosure. Read the destination's privacy and sales terms before continuing; this research site does not control another service's data practices.
