Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Can the Beats Studio Pro keep ANC on over Bluetooth for a 24-hour minimum?
Beats reports up to 24 hours with ANC or Transparency enabled, alongside a separate up-to-40-hour figure with those modes off. The questionnaire match uses the 24-hour ANC-on Bluetooth plan only. Real use may be shorter, and that figure does not transfer to USB-C or analog listening.
Explore this need in the finder →Will the included 3.5 mm cable work after the battery is empty?
Apple Support says Studio Pro playback over the included 3.5 mm cable does not require battery power, so this is the documented passive fallback. That fact does not show ANC operates without power; use the Bluetooth ANC plan or ask Beats for clarification if ANC over a powered analog cable is essential.
Explore this need in the finder →What is the difference between the USB-C and analog cables?
The included USB-C cable supports digital audio and charges the headphones while playing; Beats lists lossless audio and three built-in USB-C sound profiles. The included 3.5 mm cable is analog, supports lossless source playback as documented by Apple, and does not need battery power. Neither fact creates a separate ANC-on runtime for the wired mode.
Explore this need in the finder →Beats Studio Pro is the more connection-flexible member of the current Beats over-ear ANC pair. The official sources document Bluetooth ANC, USB-C digital audio, and a supplied 3.5 mm analog cable that can play without headphone battery power. Those are three distinct operating plans—not one universal “wired” mode. Beats rates the headphones for up to 24 hours with ANC or Transparency enabled and up to 40 hours with both modes off. This assessment follows those manufacturer claims and does not represent personal use, measurement, or a comparative ANC test.
ANC and runtime belong to a particular mode
For a Bluetooth listener who needs ANC, the relevant published maximum is 24 hours. The 40-hour figure applies when ANC and Transparency are turned off, so it cannot answer an ANC-on requirement. Beats also describes Fast Fuel as up to four hours of playback after a ten-minute charge when the battery is low. That is a short-charge recovery claim, not a full charge duration or a forecast for every source, volume or battery condition.
The 260 g listed weight gives a useful specification comparison with Beats 360 at 294.5 g, but weight alone cannot predict comfort. Studio Pro has UltraPlush over-ear cushions and metal adjustment sliders. Earpad seal, glasses, head shape, warmth and long-session pressure remain personal fit questions; if possible, use a suitable return window to evaluate that fit rather than treating a product description as a comfort test.
Two wired paths, two different questions
The included 3.5 mm cable carries analog audio from a standard source. Apple Support says playback through this cable does not require the headphone battery, which makes it a documented passive fallback if the charge is depleted. A passive, no-battery route is not active noise cancellation. Although ANC is available on the headphones in Bluetooth use, the consulted model-specific sources do not confirm ANC while listening through the 3.5 mm cable with the headphone powered. If powered analog ANC is a hard requirement, ask Beats for model-specific confirmation rather than assuming the feature carries over from Bluetooth.
The included USB-C cable is different: it carries digital audio, charges the headphones while audio is playing, and is the manufacturer's lossless route. Beats lists three built-in USB-C sound profiles—Beats Signature, Entertainment, and Conversation. The profile choice may be useful for music, films/games, or voice-focused content, but it does not make USB-C the same as 3.5 mm analog. No separate ANC-on runtime for USB-C audio appears in the material reviewed here, so the 24-hour rating is not applied to that route.
Package checking matters. Beats lists both the USB-C and 3.5 mm cables, a carrying case, a quick-start guide and warranty card in the box. A USB-C adapter for hosts with only USB-A is not listed, so check the source device's ports and cable needs. For lossless playback, the source and app/content also need to support the format; a cable alone does not make every stream lossless.
Do not confuse pairing convenience with multipoint
Studio Pro uses Class 1 Bluetooth, but the consulted official product page does not give a Bluetooth version or list codecs. Apple one-touch pairing across devices in an iCloud account and Android Audio Switch describe ecosystem behavior; neither statement specifies two simultaneous Bluetooth connections in one headphone arrangement. This assessment therefore leaves the simultaneous-device field unknown. If your phone and computer must remain linked at once, look for a model-specific manual that explicitly states multipoint rather than relying on pairing or switching language.
Exact colors and sensible buying checks
Apple's U.S. part-number list identifies four Studio Pro finishes: Black MQTP3LL/A, Deep Brown MQTT3LL/A, Navy MQTQ3LL/A and Sandstone MQTR3LL/A. Beats' product page presents one model-level capability set, and the consulted pages provide no finish-specific feature difference. These are therefore recorded as color variants of the same assessed model. Before ordering, verify the exact Studio Pro generation and finish, that both cables and the case are included, the host's USB-C or 3.5 mm compatibility, seller return terms, and whether your expected setup is the 24-hour Bluetooth ANC plan, USB-C digital audio or battery-free analog playback.
Studio Pro is the stronger documented choice here for someone who needs both digital USB-C and passive analog options; 360 offers a higher ANC-enabled maximum, IPX4 resistance and interchangeable cushion sets, but its consulted support materials do not document the same wired paths. The right tradeoff depends on the actual connection, not only the battery headline. See the Beats Studio Pro product page, Beats Studio Pro support page, and Apple's Studio Pro use guide for supported devices and cable behavior.
