soundcore Space One Wireless ANC Headphones (Jet Black) review

Current U.S. Jet Black A3035 over-ear Bluetooth ANC configuration. Soundcore rates its single-device standard-codec ANC arrangement at up to 40 hours under stated conditions; multipoint is supported, but the maker does not publish a separate runtime for two-device use.

A useful fit for

A documented paper fit for someone seeking over-ear Bluetooth ANC, a 40-hour single-device standard-codec ANC-on rating, app controls, or two-device Bluetooth connection support. The manual also documents an analog AUX input, but its ANC and power-off behavior are not confirmed here.

The main tradeoff

The 40-hour rating is a manufacturer maximum with stated test conditions, not a guarantee for the current battery; there is no separate LDAC, multipoint, or wired ANC runtime. LDAC cannot be used with two connected devices, and the source does not confirm AUX ANC or battery-free passive listening. Soundcore says the headphones are not waterproof or sweatproof, and personal seal, comfort, call quality, and attenuation were not measured.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Does the 40-hour figure mean ANC can remain on over Bluetooth?

The A3035 manual and Soundcore support FAQ both list up to 40 hours with ANC enabled; the FAQ states a test using specified music on an iPhone at 50% volume. The 55-hour figure is the separate ANC-off Normal mode. These are maker-rated conditions rather than a measured result in this review, and LDAC, multipoint, and analog listening do not inherit the 40-hour rating.

Can I keep a phone and a computer paired at once?

Yes, the A3035 manual documents two simultaneous Bluetooth device connections through Dual Connections. LDAC is not supported while two devices are connected, and Soundcore does not publish a runtime measured in that multipoint state. Treat switching between two links as supported but do not assume two streams mix or that the 40-hour single-device rating applies unchanged.

Can I use the AUX cable if Bluetooth is unavailable, including after the battery is empty?

The A3035 manual confirms 3.5 mm AUX listening and says wired listening switches Bluetooth off; Soundcore's connection guidance says to power on for the wired EQ. The sources reviewed do not clearly confirm ANC during AUX or audio playback with the headphone powered off, so neither ANC-over-cable nor a battery-free fallback should be assumed. Check the exact cable and package before relying on wired use.

Assessment scope: This is a source-based review of the U.S. Jet Black soundcore Space One, model A3035, SKU A3035Z11. It is not a hands-on review: no personal listening, comfort, call, noise-reduction, or battery testing was done. The product page identifies three other finish-only A3035 variants—Latte Cream A3035Z21, Sky Blue A3035Z31, and Pink A3035Z51—which share this assessment; none is Space One Pro A3062.

Where the Space One fits

Soundcore positions the Space One as an over-ear Bluetooth headphone with adaptive active noise cancellation, transparency, app controls, 40 mm drivers, and a 3.5 mm AUX input. The official U.S. page also calls out folding earcups and a travel pouch. Those features make it a credible paper candidate for ordinary commuting or desk listening if the published modes fit your routine. They do not establish that its ANC will silence a specific cabin, conversation, or office, or that the cushions seal comfortably on your head.

The page's “up to 98%” noise-reduction and “2x stronger voice reduction” language is manufacturer marketing. The page says the ANC percentage comes from Soundcore lab testing, but the material reviewed here does not provide a comparable independent measurement protocol. This assessment therefore treats the figures as claims to examine—not a measured result or a reason to expect a particular reduction in speech.

Forty hours is one stated Bluetooth condition, not every mode

The A3035 manual lists up to 40 hours of playback with ANC on and up to 55 hours with ANC off. Soundcore's Space One support FAQ gives more context: its figures use specified music played from an iPhone at 50% volume, with separate results for ANC, transparency, and Normal mode. It lists five minutes of charging for four hours of playback only in Normal mode; do not treat that as four hours of ANC-on operation. The manual lists a two-hour charge time and 580 mAh battery capacity.

Those are maker-reported maximums, not a prediction for a used or aged battery, a different volume, or every app setting. Soundcore says LDAC increases power consumption and reduces playtime but does not publish a separate LDAC ANC duration in the reviewed material. The FAQ's iPhone test does not supply one: the manual says LDAC requires Android 8.0 or later. The finder therefore uses 40 hours only for a single-device Bluetooth ANC arrangement using AAC or SBC—not LDAC, two-device multipoint, or a cable.

Multipoint has a useful codec boundary

The manual says the Space One can connect to two devices at once and explains enabling Dual Connections in the soundcore app. That is relevant if a phone and computer need to remain paired. It is not evidence that two audio streams mix, nor does Soundcore publish a separate ANC-on runtime with two connections active. More importantly, the manual and the model-specific support article both say LDAC is not available with two connected devices. A two-device setup should therefore be assessed as a standard-codec arrangement unless Soundcore documents otherwise for a specific firmware and app combination.

AUX listening is documented; passive fallback is not

The manual confirms 3.5 mm AUX listening and says wired listening automatically turns Bluetooth off. Soundcore's connection instructions say to power the headphones on for the wired EQ. That is useful when the source has an analog output, but the sources reviewed do not explicitly establish that ANC remains available over AUX, how long powered cable listening lasts, or whether audio continues when the battery is empty and the headphones are off. Do not infer those behaviors from the Bluetooth rating or from the presence of an AUX port. If a flight-screen cable, powered ANC, or a battery-free emergency fallback is essential, confirm the exact operation before relying on it.

Fit, moisture, and package checks

Soundcore describes earcups that rotate eight degrees and a headband intended to distribute pressure. These are design notes, not a comfort test. The page cannot tell you whether the pads clear your ears, glasses, hairstyle, or fit preference; try to keep a practical return option if the seal or long-session feel matters. Soundcore also says the headphones are not waterproof or sweatproof, so they are a poor match for a sweaty workout routine.

The U.S. page lists the travel pouch and AUX among special features, and the manual refers to a 3.5 mm cable and a certified USB-C charging lead. The reviewed documents do not establish a complete box inventory for every U.S. retailer. Before ordering, check that the offer is the A3035 family and the intended SKU, and verify the seller's actual pouch, cable, charging, warranty, and return terms. The official serial-number guide places the A3035 serial between an earcup and its cushion; this assessment does not determine any individual unit's service eligibility.

Who should keep it on the shortlist?

The Space One is worth comparing when the documented single-device ANC setup, 40-hour maximum rating, app controls, and two-device Bluetooth support align with your priorities. Its tradeoffs are the LDAC/multipoint incompatibility, unknown runtimes outside the stated tests, uncertain wired-mode ANC and power-off playback, and lack of water or sweat resistance. Compare it with headphones that publish the exact mode you need rather than choosing by a lab percentage or a headline battery number. No conclusion here substitutes for a personal fit check or exact-package verification.
